My name is Charlie, and this blog is (at the moment) simply a place for me to articulate my thoughts, particularly about Scripture and other books. Currently I am a student at Villanova University and work in their Augustinian Institute. I hope that my blog exists not only for my own benefit, but also for the building up of Christ’s Church.

suscribed to your blog and saw your comments on Sharper Irons(for whatever reason-maybe a bit upset when discriminated b their technology prevents me from gaining access). I did enjoy your comments on the article on postmodernism. For me the slight disagreement-and I think more of understanding-we have the hindsight to see capitalism sometimes works well and other times not so well. This in the context of what preachers railed against against banking in those times. Not saying your thoughts are revisionist but in a kind of way-anti revisionist or reverse revision. Still not sure if I am expressing this in the right way to not be offensive as that is not my goal.
I did enjoy what you wrote.

Thanks, Dave. It’s a complicated topic and I welcome thoughts.

Hello Charlie,
This is totally out of left field, but I say a comment you made here (http://www.puritanboard.com/f24/james-grays-how-master-english-bible-reading-plan-71900/) and was wondering if you could point me in a direction or let me know of some resources that you used to “memorize the chapter content of the whole Bible.”
Again I know completely random, but I would appreciate the help!
Thank You,
Jeff
Charlie, I just found your review of Passion and Paradise. You were extremely gracious in your comments. I’m glad you found it readable and helpful. All the best to you in your work at Villanova. What a rich set of conversation partners you have.
